THE tips on the Portland game Jordan put up last night were all winners and now he’s targeting the big kick-off.
Fulham v Newcastle gets us under way on Friday night and I’ve already tipped the Geordies for the title as well as taking them to score 2+ as a Super Single.
Rafa Benitez’s men look as if they mean business after spending £45million and Jordan likes them too.
He says: “Fulham conceded 79 goals last season, the third most in the Championship. A few more bad results and they may have been playing in League One.
“A lot of new faces have gone and came in, most notably with Championship goal machine Ross McCormack heading to Aston Villa and Moussa Dembele heading north to Celtic.
“Manager Slavisa Jokanovic has had the summer to do a bit more to the squad and make things more his way but unfortunately his way didn’t seem to work too well last season with 11 losses in 23 games conceding 1.7 goals on average per game.
“If that continues on opening night Newcastle will pick them apart. The Toons ended last season in good form, unbeaten in their last six with their 5-1 win over Spurs ending what was a terrible season.
“The good form could play well into the start of their new campaign and technically could argue they haven’t lost since April 9 (12 games).
“Bet365 have their goal time as 46mins so I’m chancing the first-half goal. Newcastle could be a side that puts 3 or 4 past teams most weeks if Benitez gets it right and this is good value for such a good team against Fulham’s still possible suspect defence.
“Seeing as though there are more games on it means I can’t start doing doubles/trebles etc again so have thrown one together for Friday with a few picks I fancy.”
